Klaara is a new financial partner for ambitious small and mid-sized companies. We combine modern accounting, smart automation and strategic advisory to help CEOs and leadership teams turn financial data into clarity, better decisions and measurable results.

The role

This is a full-time position starting in Q3 2026. You can work hybrid or on-site in Jakobstad. As an Accounting Specialist you will take ownership of core accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues to deliver accurate, compliant and efficient work.

Tasks include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Monthly and annual closings
• Financial reporting and summaries for clients
• Communication with clients and support in accounting-related questions
• Collaboration with colleagues to improve workflows and processes
• Contributing to the development of more automated and efficient ways of working

What we look for

We are looking for someone who can independently handle accounting while also being curious and proactive about improving processes. Some of the things we like to see:

• Relevant education in accounting, finance or related field
• Experience with bookkeeping in Finland
• Strong communication skills in Finnish and Swedish; all other languages are a plus
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work
• A structured, curious and solution-oriented mindset
