What is Klaara’s company culture like?
We are a small, ambitious team that combines strong performance with a warm and supportive culture. We believe in freedom with responsibility, clear goals, flat hierarchies, minimal bureaucracy, and real opportunities to influence how we work. Mutual respect is fundamental, and we do not tolerate discrimination or harassment.
Is remote or flexible work possible?
Yes. We believe in flexibility and trust, which means working hours and arrangements can be adapted to different life situations. At the same time, we value collaboration and being together as a team at our office in Jakobstad. As we grow, we will open additional offices when needed.
What does the team look like?
Our team is growing and consists of accounting and payroll specialists, financial advisors, and entrepreneurs. We are happy to tell you more about the team during the interview process.
Are there opportunities to develop or specialize in the role?
Absolutely. We want our employees to grow with the company. This can mean specialization (for example certifications), leadership responsibilities, or moving into a more advisory role over time.
Do I need technical or AI skills?
No. Our goal is to combine human expertise with smart automation, but the technical solutions are handled by specialists. You don’t need advanced technical skills, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are a big plus.
Is the role limited to bookkeeping or payroll, or is it flexible?
Both options are possible. You can work broadly across different tasks or focus on a specific area. Our priority is to find talented people and let them work in roles where they perform well and enjoy their work.
Are processes already in place, or are they built together?
As a young company, we already have some processes in place, but we value people who want to help develop and improve them together with us. This is not a requirement however.
What about salary?
We offer a competitive salary that is above the industry average. More details about compensation and benefits are discussed during the interview.
